Grilled Fish Tacos

We used frozen hake fish. I'm sure cod or other flaky white fish would be delicious too.

Flaky grilled fish taco

The marinade/baste:
olive oil
cumin
red chili powder
garlic powder
lime juice

Other ingredients used:
cilantro
cabbage
more lime juice
salt to taste
+/- sour cream
+/- shredded cheese
+/- cole slaw dressing
+/- salsa

Instructions/what we did:
Thaw the fish.
Spoon the marinade on all sides of the fish. Let it sit while other things are prepared, about 15 minutes.
Other things could include: chopping cilantro and cabbage, thinking about whether or not you have salsa or want to take the time to make a pico de gallo.
Grill on high-ish heat for about 5 minutes on each side, turning once.
After the fish is removed from the grill, use a fork to break the fish apart into flaky chunks.
Scoop everything onto a tortilla, especially the cilantro and extra squirts of lime juice. Cole slaw dressing with the cabbage was surprisingly good, but maybe unnecessary.
grilling the fish, bird's eye view
